Where is the job? You will work out of the Denver Corporate Office and may be able to work remotely.

 The job: This role provides technical support and training to departmental staff using computer software and applications. You will also troubleshoot and resolve problems with business systems and generate reporting to help identify trends, software issues, and training needs. Additional responsibilities:

  • Provides timely responses in a professional, customer service-oriented fashion
  • Manages helpdesk ticketing system to assist field and corporate users with trouble issues or knowledge requests
  • Maintains an overall positive, helpful attitude when working with end-users
  • Diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot software issues with critical thinking skills to resolve or escalate as necessary
  • Accurately import large volumes of data into Yardi, assisting with month end close process and major transactions (i.e. acquisitions, debt financing, etc.)
  • Create users and manage staffing changes in the Yardi system and other applicable software
  • Administrator of additional business system software
  • Assists with system upgrades, testing, implementations, and maintenance
  • Directly responsible for data integrity and accuracy through understanding and application of company policies and standards
  • Provides guidance to field and corporate users in system use and functionality to achieve business best practices
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Assistant Vice President of Business Applications and Software Support Manager

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Yardi Voyager experience required (Experience with other Yardi products is a plus)
  • Experience using third party interfaces such as Utility Billing, Resident Screening, Renter’s Insurance, etc. a plus
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently or with groups to achieve department goals
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive work approach
  • Strong trouble shooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Additional skills needed include phone skills, multitasking, time management, product knowledge and market knowledge

Job Requirements

Education and experience:

  • 3+ years Property Management experience (Assistant Manager/Property Manager)
  • 2+ years of experience with Yardi Voyager
  • 2-year degree or 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills
  • Affordable housing process knowledge 
  • Training background is a plus
