Where is the job? You will work out of the Denver office and travel throughout the metro area to tour properties with prospects. Our Sales and Marketing Manager supports our small-building portfolio.

The job: The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and supervising activities in support of achieving the property’s occupancy and income goals. This person supervises the leasing team and all leasing functions. Additional responsibilities:

  • Sets weekly and monthly leasing goals and ensures the leasing team is focused and highly productive in an effort to meet or exceed goals
  • Responsible for weekly reporting and weekend update reporting
  • Accountable for market surveys and weekly pricing management
  • Oversees the leasing team, and manages sales goals on a daily basis
  • Assist in the development, supervision and direction of the outreach marketing, as well as the business to business marketing and perks programs for the Local portfolio
  • Responsible for brand awareness and sales training of the leasing team
  • Proficient in social media management, and willing to explore new advertising channels within social media platforms
  • Tracks traffic, appointments, follow-up, and leases daily to ensure proper entry into Rent Cafe
  • Responsible for reviewing the advertising efforts of the on-site leasing team and paid advertising sources.  Communicate with corporate marketing team to review cost per lease and overall advertising effectiveness.
  • In addition to sales management tasks, perform the leasing functions as needed.
  • Monitor online reputation and respond to reviews to increase positive ratings on line
  • Organizes resident events and/or resident appreciation for each property on a monthly basis in order to maintain or improve customer relations 
  • Works with corporate marketing to communicate to residents and prospects through branded communication efforts
  • Reviews rental applications and ensures leasing file accuracy and adherence to policies
  • Assists residents with questions, maintenance requests, payment of rent or other requests on a daily basis
  • Complies with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances
  • Completes all other projects or requests as directed by Supervisor

Job Requirements

Education and experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in leasing, marketing, and management
  • Must be proficient in marketing and systems applications
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Must be attentive to detail and adhere to company standards
  • Weekend availability may be required
  • High school diploma required

  • A vehicle in good working condition
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
